General

Do you offer a monthly membership?


Yes, but you must train with DB and pay a membership fee at LJ Performance Training location. It does not require any long-term commitment; month-to-month with no annual or start up fees. You can buy as many or as few classes as you’d like. If you want to buy one class, that's fine. But, if you're training regularly, larger series offer a price discount that I would take advantage of.




Can I buy a class and transfer it?


No! You cannot sell or transfer your class to someone else so if classes are purchased they have to be used by that individual who name is on the account.




Can I redeem a class and get cash back?


No, purchases are final. When you buy a class, you are only entitled to use that class to book a session at a particular time. You cannot redeem your class for cash.




What if I can't do everything in the class? I haven't worked out in a while.


One of the best things about training with DB is that it can be adapted to any fitness level and he modifies depending on fitness level. With every class comes increased confidence and strength, so we encourage first timers to go at their own pace and have fun.




How is DB Performance Training different from the cycling classes offered at my gym?


High Intensity Interval Training group sessions are full body workouts built into a great environment that gives clients the experience of an athletic workout.




How many calories are burned per class?


It depends on the individual and the amount of exertion during the session. Normally on average my clients burn from 500-1000 calories in a vigorous 1hour workout.




Can I workout if I am pregnant?


We have had many pregnant women who are able to workout right up until their due date as long as they participated in this level of training before the pregnancy, but we recommend you check with your doctor before training with me.




My friends and I want to take our first class together. Do we need to create our own accounts to sign up?


Yes, each new participant must purchase a trial session and fill out a Waiver Form (available in when purchasing) before their class is booked. Please note that classes are not transferable to other clients accounts. Minor Waivers: Clients in the USA between the ages of 5 and 17, must have a parent or guardian sign their waiver online.




Do you have childcare in the gym?


No. Unfortunately, we don't.




Do you have locker rooms?


Yes, in each genders respected bathroom. All other items can be placed in cubbyholes located before bathrooms.




Do you have water or do I have to bring mine?


We sell bottled water for $1. We also have water fountains at the gym if you need to fill up.




What are your studio rules?


  • All clients must sign a waiver and agreement form prior to their first session.
  • I reserve the right to count any session if it does not meet cancellation rules stated in policy. If more than 30min late to session let DB know you are on your way. Cannot guarantee an hour session if you arrive later than scheduled time.
  • In order to cancel a session booking and return it to your account, you must do so 8hrs prior to sessions. If a client does not cancel their session before this time frame they will be charged for it. “See rules or ask DB for emergency situation exemptions.” You can cancel by logging into your profile online to do so.
  • We are not responsible for any items that are lost or stolen at the gym, but will do our best to investigate the situation.
  • If a client is planning on leaving early, ask that they please tell DB ahead of time to make sure you get key exercises completed before leaving.





Buying Online

Need to make a return?


Purchases are non-refundable if month has start up or sessions are used. Full commitment, month to month enforcement by agreement signed. ONLINE TRAINING: Online training subscription can be stopped before the following month starts.





First Session

How early should I come?


If it's your first time with us, we recommend arriving at least 10 minutes before your session. Please note, that if you are running late there is a possibility your session time will be cut short or not conducted if time doesn’t permit.




What do I need to wear?


We suggest sporting wear such as tees or tank on top, form-fitting athletic pants or shorts, and proper running or lifting shoes.




How does it work when I get there?


Park in spaces directly in front of gym not labeled or any spot facing the street are first come first serve. Walk-in and ask for DB!




How do I book?


After signing all mandatory forms and purchase of a package or session go select the session date, and time options that best fit your schedule. If the day and time does not show most likely it is not available for your schedule type or at all.




Can I cancel or reschedule on my own?


Definitely! Sessions can be cancelled through the website. Just remove your booking or reschedule for a different date before the 8hr deadline.




What’s the cancellation deadline?


The deadline to cancel any session is 8hrs before the session.




Can I have the online subscription and group class account both?


Yes! Just set up group training account and go subscribe to online training as well. These are two separate charges so be aware of that.




How far in advance can I book?


Sessions can be booked 14days in advance.




Do the classes expire?


Yes, the sessions expire from date of the beginning of the set calendar month till the end of the calendar month date set by DB.
